• Check-how-many-people-viewed-your-post-on-google-plus

In entice to widen G+ popularity; Google is coming up with yet another feature which views counter  which would show you the total number of views spawn on your profile, posts or photos. Being ingenious! I guess this update would shrug off the ghost-town labeling of Google+. Here, you will be seeing the sum of views generating since October 2012.

Though Google has not made any official announcement about the change, but, yes, it purely let somebody see how many times, his/her profile has been perceived by other people in network. This reconsideration is a part of boosting activities on this esteemed social platform just like Twitter which have already been experimented by launching number of views on tweets.

Unlike Facebook Insights ‘Ripples’ which has attempted to demonstrate the analytics of posts shared on ones profile, for online advertisers it’s being a limited scope of Google Tools. Never mind! After all, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. And, of course, Google must be planning something for it too.

Besides, if somebody doesn’t have enough views that may not seem quite alluring to followers, need not to feel embarrassed as this feature can also be turned off if not required. Just Go to Home, then Settings, then Profile & finally, uncheck the box at the bottom.

Additionally, it’s worth noting here that views counted are not accounted in real time. In fact, they don’t seem to be updated accurately. So, on doing +1 if you don’t see views rising don’t get wondered.

Eventually, Google Plus team has been putting all their efforts to emerge as a best social sharing network. But, will it be able to beat Facebook or else will it come at second place after Facebook? What is your verdict about it? How was your experience with this new G+ views counter? Share with me.
